HTML to Joomla Website Conversion - J.J. Sullivan Company
J.J. Sullivan Construction Company has been converted from a HTML designed site to a Joomla powered site.
J.J. Sullivan has one main requirement and it is to be able to allow vendors to download plans and specification sheets via the website.
This is currently being handled by password protecting directories on the server. The new process will be controlled by Joomla's built in ACL security rights extension. Each vendor will login to the sight and will have access to only the files needed by their company.
To accomplish this I will be using a Joomla extension developed by Phoca Web Building.
As each vendor logs in they will be directed to a page listing files that they were given access to. While on the page they can download the latest version of a file.
This is how a Joomla developed website can provide a solution to a businesses needs and increase productivity.

Joomla Development
As a long time Joomla developer in Connecticut I'm really digging the prospects of version 3.0.
The under lying template code in 3.0 takes a lot of the weight off the designers shoulders because it utilizes HTML5 and CSS3. What does this mean? Your site will look pretty good across multiple devices, especially smart phones.
Why does everyone get all jazzed up over that? Well consider that 50% of Google's local searches are executed on smart phones I would say it's important. If your business is located in a commercial building I'm sure you would like to have a customer in the store because your website on their phone was easy to read.
Developing your current into a Joomla powered site that mobile devices display with ease must sound a little intriguing, right? Contact me and I'll take a look at your current website and we can work out a plan that fits your budget.
