Not only is this my business site it's kind of a test bed for new extensions for Joomla. Joomla is the CMS (content management system) which delivers the pages.

The latest extension I'm experimenting with yvComments. It allows guest or if you prefer registered visitors leave a comment about an article on your site. The setup might be the only short coming I have found but, it is not very difficult to perform.

When you download the extension there are two compressed file inside. So you need to extract those files and install them individually, a component and a plugin.

The component provides access to the actual comment. This is where you can approve, edit or delete any entry. It is straight forward and easy to manipulate.

Now for the meat of the extension, the plugin. This is where you make all the decisions on how you want the comment feature to work. Following the instructions on the authors site is critical to get it setup correctly.
